Mount VINSON - 5,000 meters (Antarctica)
Mt. Vinson is, at almost 5,000 meters above the sea level, the highest mountain in Antarctica. This expedition was combined with the South Pole trip, due to its relative proximity.
With temperatures ranging - 50 C for several weeks, the entire climb was a unique polar experience. Although a tough climb due to the weather and glacial conditions, the views and landscape were unforgettable !
The summit day was clear and the conditions on the summit allowed me to photograph and video record a 360 degree view that is just amazing!
With the summit of Mount Vinson, Horacio Galanti completed his 7 Summits !
