7 Summits + 2 Poles
Reaching the top of the Seven Summits - the highest summit of each continent - and standing on the North and South Poles is the ultimate challenge after years of successfully climbing big mountains around the world and an exciting opportunity to achieve a long term goal working in a team effort with our sponsors.

It is a true test of the human spirit based on passion and motivation !

On May 2013, Horacio Galanti reached the summit of Mt. Everest, and the final phase of the 7 Summits Project took shape.  In April 2014 Horacio headed to the North Pole, to complete a full 42 Km marathon on the ice and trekking to the 90 degree Latitude North, with a temperature of 50 C below zero.

Continuing his quest, Horacio then traveled to Papua / New Guinea and summited the Carstensz Pyramid in an expedition back to the Stone Age!

Finally, in a combined polar expedition to Antarctica, Horacio climbed Mount Vinson - highest peak of Antarctica - and then, in a ski traverse in the polar plateau, battling frostbite, katabatic winds and a brutal wind chill of - 70 C he reached the geographic South Pole, 15 years after he initiated this project.

A life in the mountains ... and a passion to travel and to explore the most remote corners of Planet Earth.
